BSc and HND holders now receives equal salaries.

The Federal Government has approved same salary for holders of University degrees (BSc) and holders of Polytechnic Higher National Diploma (HND) in service. A board meeting chaired by the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, approved the regularization of the salaries on Tuesday in Abuja, according to a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji. “The board has directed that all officers with HND to be upgraded to COMPASS 08, which is the salary Grade Level for holders of degree certificates at entry point. “While the nomenclature for the HND holders will start with the rank of Senior Inspector, the Degree holders are with the rank of Assistant Superintendent II,” a statement from the permanent secretary of the ministry, Abubakar Magaji, said

In the said tweet, the singer had uploaded a family photo of himself, his father, his own son and two of his grandchildren reportedly taken today. Nigeria and the global comity were thrown into shock when an American medium reported that the gospel singer cum evangelist died after a short battle with stomach pain. Aisha Buhari makes another trip to London to see the President

Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari at the weekend embarked on another trip to London to visit her husband who is currently receiving treatment in the United Kingdom for an undisclosed ailment. Argentine football star Lionel Messi has married his childhood sweetheart in his hometown in what has been called the "wedding of the century". A civil ceremony for Messi, 30, and Antonela Roccuzzo, 29, was held at a luxury hotel in the city of Rosario. Niger Delta youth demand removal of the South-South Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria from the Biafra map

Niger Delta youth under the support of Niger Delta Youth Congress (NDYC), vowed to resist war drums beaten by the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) in the South-South geopolitical zone of the country. This was made known by the National Coordinator of the NDYC, Comrade Israel Uwejeyan, after an emergency meeting held in Warri. He declared that youth in the South-South geopolitical zone of the country stand for United and Indivisible Nigeria, therefore called on leaders of IPOB to erase the region from its Biafra map with immediate effect.
